Long description, Tables, Technical sheet, other

When process conditions exceed the capabilities of conventional elastomers, XFluor® PFX8010 takes sealing performance to the next level. Its highly fluorinated polymer structure combines the elastic response of rubber with excellent resistance to a broad range of aggressive chemicals, solvents and elevated temperatures.

Its well-balanced mechanical profile – including a minimum tensile strength of 18 MPa, minimum elongation at break of 140% and maximum compression set of 25% after 72 hours at 200 °C on an O-ring #214 – makes PFX8010 one of the most versatile solutions in the XFluor® range for handling thermal cycles, pressure and critical process fluids.

Recommended applications

  • O-rings and seals for pumps, valves and reactors;
  • chemical and petrochemical processing plants;
  • dosing, mixing and fluid-transfer systems;
  • sealing components for Oil & Gas, energy and industrial processing;
  • applications involving solvents, fuels, lubricants and other aggressive fluids.
